AxiCad™ Quantum Dots
NanoAxis has a brand of products, AxiCad™ QDs that meet the demanding needs of customers in many areas and applications. AxiCad brand quantum dots come in wavelengths ranging from 530 nm to 740 nm. AxiCad QDs set themselves apart from other commercially available QDs because of their high photo-stability over time, which is 
delivered by our patent pending double-layering technology. With our double-layer technology, the uniformity of the outer shell (~1.0 nanometer in thickness) of the QD is the best available in the industry.
It is often extremely difficult to achieve this high level, resulting in the loss of QD luminescence over time. Double-layered AxiCad QDs introduces an intermediate layer between the QD core and outer shell, resulting in significant enhancement and stabilization of the QD luminescence.
Our QDs have diameters between four and nine nanometers and possess optical properties of spanning green, orange and red emissions and will be sold in one of two forms:- Powder (Dry): These QD’s are typically wetted by the end-user by easily re-dispersing in a suitable non-aqueous solvent (e.g. chloroform),
- Aqueous Dispersion (Wet): QD’s are formulated in an aqueous solution and sold as “ready-to-use” to the customer.
